I married a local girl and UH Manoa graduate whose family live in the Kaimuki District.
It's located on the back slopes of Diamond Head near the Hawaii Civil Defense facilities.

(We also savored having our Christmas Eve Dinner hosted by the resident U.S. Naval Attache's family)

Upon returning to Honolulu, Hawaii, we also experienced the 1971 Diamond Head Crater's "Sunshine" Festival!

Until my release from active duty, I led off-shore virtual team tutoring aboard a sailing Trimaran (HA-742B)...

That's whenever I wasn't too intent on UH Manoa graduate studies
or performing FOCCPAC (C322/C35)shore duties at Kunia Camp's Fleet Outrigger Canoe Club Pacific ...
