P.F. Bentley

P.F. Bentley grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii. He started in photography when he took surf photos of his friends, and went on to cover rock concerts for Sunbums. He got a Bachelor of Education degree at the University of Hawaii in 1975. He has since had a successful photojournalism career spanning over 30 years, winning several awards. He also does video documentary work with his company Hula Boy Productions. When not traveling, he splits his time between the Big Island of Hawaii and New York City. He is married to publicist Cathy Saypol.
